Products & Mining Operations
Consolidated Minerals, Inc. (CMI) owns and operates 4 constant-output mines in the southeastern US that produce concrete, masonry, fill sands, topsoil, limestone and other aggregates. Collectively, the mines produce 1.5 million tons of aggregate annually, which are used to create industrial concrete, asphalt, masonry and other manufactured products.
Headquartered in Leesburg, Florida, and owned by F. Browne Gregg, Consolidated Minerals, Inc. (CMI) has grown to include 100+ employees and several subsidiary and allied companies, Burke County Sand Company, South Carolina Minerals, Inc., CL Industries, Inc., CL Industries South Central, Inc., and Colored Aggregate Systems, Inc.
Consolidated Minerals, Inc. (CMI)'s operations are committed to the constant exploration of more efficient ways to extract and produce mining products, as well as conserve, reclaim and recycle natural and manufactured resources at every level of production.
Burke County Sand Company – This plant produces high quality sands, topsoil and clay for superior concrete, masonry, landscaping and other construction projects.
South Carolina Minerals, Inc. is a collective of three plants in the Southeastern United States. The North Augusta mine produces fine masonry sand, concrete sand, and sand clay for myriad building projects. Gaston produces specialty-grade sand for concrete and masonry jobs, fill sand, sand clay, dry bulk, bagged abrasive sand and pool filter sand. The Sandy Run plant specializes in quality concrete sand, masonry sand and sand clay for construction projects.
CMI Calcium Carbonate
Consolidated Minerals, Inc. (CMI)'s revolutionary calcium carbonate product line is ideal for partial cement replacement and enhancement, providing bimodal particle distribution for solid reinforcement of concrete and other cement-based products. The line contains the following calcium carbonate products:

Colored Aggregate Systems, Inc.
is an industry leader in designer aggregate products for specification and use in the building and pool construction industries. Colored Aggregate Systems produces a full line of creative products, including AquaGlow phosphorescent compound, AquaAccents custom mosaics and AquaGems colored plaster additive. They also create custom aggregate tiles and finishes for countertops, floors and other high-durability uses.
CL Industries, Inc. (CLI) and CL Industries South Central, Inc. (CLISC)
CLI and CLISC are the world’s leading producer of swimming pool plaster, exposed aggregate pool finishes, deck coatings, and building materials for the swimming pool industry. Specialty custom products include Crystalstones Natural, CrystalColors Satin Quartz and KrystalKrete Exposed Aggregate pool finishes.
CLI and CLISC comprise two plants – one in Orlando, Florida and one in Ft. Worth, Texas, and ship their products from Florida, Texas and California to meet the demands of customers across the nation and around the world.
